Director - Bríd Saruwatari Bríd qualified as a Chartered Accountant on completion of her B. Comm at UCD and her articles with PWC. Her career spans an international arena having worked in Bermuda, specializing in the captive insurance business, and Canada as Chief Finance Officer in a large Canadian Credit Union. Brid returned to Ireland in 2000 and spent four years in investment fund administration with State Street International (formerly Deutsche Bank) before joining the firm as Director - Strategic Planning. Nuala Kenny joined the team in 2006. Originally from Waterford, Nuala was previously Associate Director (Tax) with KPMG, Dublin where she enjoyed a succession of promotions prior to taking up her post with us. A graduate of the University of Limerick with a BA degree in Law & Accountancy, Nuala is also a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland. A Qualified Financial Advisor, Áine manages the Financial Services Department in Lalor O’Shea. The practice is regulated by IFSRA as Investment and Mortgage Intermediaries, offering independent financial advice in the areas of savings, investments, commercial and residential mortgages, pensions and retirement planning. As Accounts Manager for ‘Teamwork Online Accounting', Gareth steers the company’s pioneering online accounting department. Similar to internet banking, Teamwork Accounting allows clients to process all of their accounting and tax records in a simple, secure and efficient way over the internet. She became a member of the Institute of Taxation in 2005 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2008. In her current role as Tax Manager, Eimear is responsible for the preparation of income tax returns and also advises on range of tax issues. She worked with IFG Financial Services as a Pension Fund Administrator until 2003 after which she joined the firm as a trainee accountant. Linda qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. As a manager in the Audit & Business Advisory Department, she supports the manufacturing, retail, tourism and credit union sectors with audit and general accountancy advice in addition to taxation and company secretarial advice. IT Manager & Financial Controller - J.P. McGee
J.P. joined John O’Shea & Co as a trainee accountant in the summer of 2000. He was admitted as a member into the Institute of Accounting Technicians in 2002 and into the Institute of Certified Public Accountants as a member in 2006. Upon graduating in 2006, J.P. was appointed as the firm’s Financial Controller with responsibility for the firms internal accounting function, a role which he continues to combine with that of IT Manager.

Business Advisory Services Manager - Mairead Lalor
A graduate of UCD with a B (hons) Agr Sc, Mairead joined the firm in 1999. She completed her business studies and Institute of Taxation exams before becoming a manager in the Business Advisory Services Department where she prepares sole trader and limited company accounts and tax - with a specialism in the area of agriculture and agri related business.

Tax Manager - Sinead Lalor
Sinéad joined the firm in June 2003. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1995 and subsequently worked in the Tax Departments of Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Glanbia plc. Sinéad is also a member of the Irish Taxation Institute and acts as Senior Tax Manager within Lalor O'Shea. She specialises in income tax and tax consulting on projects such as the sale of development land, revenue audit and estate planning.

Sinéad completed her Certificate in Business Studies in Blanchardstown IT in 2001. She continued her studies while working in the accounts departments of Irish Life Assurance plc and Bord Gáis Eireann and was admitted as a member of the Institute of Accounting Technicians in 2004. Sinéad joined Lalor O'Shea in 2004 and subsequently qualified as a Certified Payroll Technician with the Irish Payroll Association. She received her Diploma in Payroll Management in 2006. As manager of the Payroll Department, Sinéad provides a professional outsourced payroll bureau service.
Sinéad also runs the Company Secretarial Department in the practice. She completed her Certificate in Irish Company Practice and Share Registration Practice with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in 2007 and specialises in company secretarial, company compliance and start-up business services.
